⚘ Encouraging participation in politics!

If you're on our website, it's possible that you're unable to vote due to your age! Here are some ways YOU can participate in politics nevertheless!!!

ଓ Repost issues that you care about on social media!

Even if you have a small following, it's good to educate others on what's going on in their community and the world around them. You never know who's eyes it may catch.

ଓ Become an election worker!

The best way you can participate in politics is to be an election worker. You'll be able to see in person the process of an election. Most states allow 16 and 17 year olds to do so. Not only does this count as volunteering hours, but you can also get paid! This looks good when applying to college as well. (wink wink)

ଓ Educate your family and friends who can vote!

Inform the adults that surround you about elections in the state or county. Assist them in finding RELIABLE information about the candidates, election dates, and issues they care aboutThis way you're both able to complete your American civic duty!

Steps to become an election worker ᯓᡣ𐭩

1) Sign a permission form and email it to your Polling Location/Judges Coordinator. Either that or print it out and turn it in person @ 2010 Redbud Blvd. Suite 102 McKinney TX 75069.

If you're in McKinney, Texas that would be Allyson Hall. Her email is [email protected].

2) Your name will be sent to judges who will need help when necessary.

I'd recommend sending an email to your Judge Coordinating asking when the next election is and asking for more information. You're most likely to find this on your county's/city's election website.
